Jon Rodriguez

Technical Project Manager for WP Engine, specializing in helping businesses migrate and optimize their WordPress sites.  Jon is a recent Brooklyn resident, having moved from Austin, TX in 2015.  This is his second year at WordCamp NYC, but his first time as an organizer.

David Parsons

A New York City based Software Engineer. David recently moved to work with USA Today developing code for the WordPress VIP platform. He originally picked up WordPress around 8 years ago in high school for fun and and ended up never looked back. You’ll often find him at a local conference or meetup talking about the latest trends in tech.

Winstina S. Hughes

Winstina Hughes is a Master of City and Regional Planning candidate at Rutgers University. She received a B.A. in Planning and Public Policy from Rutgers. Her focus is transit-oriented development (TOD). She’s written about real estate development and transportation for hyper local news, and maintains her own WordPress.com blog on suburban planning and community engagement in the town she lives. Winstina bleeds scarlet, loves hip-hop, and adores WordPress software. 

Tom Harrigan

Tom is a Principal Software Developer at Alley Interactive and runs the monthly Developer Hack Night Meetup.

Kevin Cristiano

Kevin is active on the WordPress  Community Team.   He has worked with WordPress and been involved with the New York meetup for many years, and has been spotted at WordCamps all over. He is also a member of Tadpole Collective.

Mikel King

Lead Organizer.

Mikel is a 20+yr Technology Leader, Public Speaker, Columnist, USCG Veteran, Brewer of beer, Coffee Evangelist. Currently the Sr WordPress Dev at Reader’s Digest Association for RD.com He is an author at JAFDIP BSD News BitRebels Huffington Post
